When I spoke to him after she won the first round, he was at a loss to explain his reasoning. "The person in front of me told me they had to check the numbers all the way down at the end," he recalled. "Not one number would work. Every time the numbers come out, they're like, 'This guy's in the middle of this one.' They have to say, 'OK.'"
